Description
Surface Preparation
Ensure the wall is firm, level, dry, and clean.Level uneven surfaces over 2mm.
Repair cracks and imperfections for smoothness.
Surface moisture should be under 2%.
Installation Materials
Consider wall material, stability, environment, surface type, and work speed.
Choose the appropriate adhesive:
White/Red body tile: C1 concrete glue.
Stoneware/Porcelain tile: C2 concrete glue.
Always test with at least two pieces before full installation.
Installation Process
Start from the floor up, allowing adhesive to dry in phases.
Apply a thin adhesive layer (3mm) and use notched trowel no. 3.
For 30×60 pieces, apply adhesive on both the wall and the piece in opposite directions.
Press pieces for proper adhesion and use tape/wood strips for better fixing.
Use a minimum 2mm joint and SELF-LEVELING SPACERS to prevent lippage.
For thermal expansion or unstable surfaces, use a minimum 3mm joint.
Avoid locked joints over 25% to prevent unevenness.
Grouting
Clean and dry joints with a minimum depth of 2mm.
Use a flat rubber trowel and clean excess grout immediately with a wet sponge.
For waterproofing, use epoxy grouting paste.
Follow pre-cut lines for correct finish and uniform joints.
Test grouting paste color on sample pieces first.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Use regular, pH-neutral cleaners.
Avoid abrasive products, especially for PVD and dedicated products.
